    Oneness Blessing (Deeksha)

Deeksha (also called Oneness Blessing) is an energy transfer that works by creating a neurobiological shift in the brain, awakening the energy centers (Chakras) in the body and activating Kundalini. This creates a gradual shift in consciousness, freeing you from the suffering created by the mind, balancing the body's natural healing energies and attuning the brain to higher levels of awareness. It helps quiet the overactive thinking centers of the brain, mainly in the parietal lobes and stimulates the underactive frontal lobes, bringing clarity of perception accompanied by feelings of joy, inner peace and connection. Deeksha does not belong to any religion or belief. It is a universal energy that can be received by anyone. No special teachings are required or needed. All that is needed is to be open to receiving .

Benefits from receiving the Oneness Blessing:

~~ Deep inner silence and peace ~~ Imparts higher states of awareness ~~ Cleanses/Balances energy centers ~

~~  Removes negative energy and life patterns ~~  Raises energy levels in the body ~~

~~ Healing of relationships and past traumas ~~    Awakens psychic abilities

    Date:  Sunday September 12th,   4 – 6 pm

Open to the community - All welcome!

What is Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)?

Developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in 1979, MBSR is based on a practice known as mindfulness.  Mindfulness is an inherent human quality, a way of paying wise attention to whatever is happening.  Mindful presence and action allows for a profound sense of connection to life, inwardly and outwardly.  Mindfulness is also a practice, a systematic method aimed at cultivating clarity, insight and understanding.  Mindfulness is a foundation for learning better self-care through exploring and understanding the interplay of body and mind and for mobilizing and strengthening inner resources.

Yoga Nidra has been called "the most powerful relaxation technique known to man".

In Yoga science, it is much more than this. Yoga Nidra is based on an ancient yogic technique that facilitates deep relaxation and meditation. A series of guided techniques and visualizations brings you into the Alpha and Theta states where deep healing takes place, and where you can access the subconscious mind, affecting great change and transformation in your life. Yoga Nidra is considered an advanced yogic technique that can be practiced by anyone; those new to yoga as well as experienced practitioners.

*We will be doing some gentle stretches, with the majority of the practice done in a resting position. (If unable to lie on the floor, the practice may be done sitting in a chair.)
