In this class
you will experience a gentle,
compassionate approach to yoga that
feels wonderful, without strain.
Geared toward seniors, newer
students, persons recovering from
illness or injury, or anyone who
would like a gentle class. All

Classes include a combination of
asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing practices), sanskrit
chanting, yoga philosophy, meditation, and deep relaxation.
EASY/GENTLE: This 1-hour
class is geared toward seniors, newer students, persons
recovering from illness or injury, or anyone who would
like an "extra-gentle" yoga experience.
LEVEL 1: For all students,
especially those beginning their study of yoga. Classes
cover the fundamentals. All welcome!
LEVEL 1 - 2: For students who
have some experience in Level 1 classes and are ready to go
somewhat deeper. Assistance and modifications offered to
students as needed.
LEVEL 2: For intermediate
students. Moderately paced. An opportunity for deeper
exploration. Assistance and modifications offered as needed.
LEVEL 2 - 3: This class is a step
in between Level 2 and Level 3 classes. Class will be led in
a way that allows intermediate students to explore their
edge safely while creating the opportunity for advanced
students to go deeper.
LEVEL 2 - 3 VINYASA - Vinyasa is a
form of Hatha yoga, inspired by the Ashtanga tradition In
class, postures are connected though the breath in a
creative, flowing sequence. See
above information about Level 2-3 practice.
LEVEL 3: For students
(intermediate to advanced), who are looking to deepen their
practice on all levels. More challenging than Level 1 or 2
classes.
ALL LEVELS - Open to all, from
beginning to experienced practitioners.
YOGA NIDRA: Yoga Nidra is a yoga technique
that facilitates complete physical, mental and emotional
relaxation. Sessions will include gentle warm-ups followed
by a 30-minute Yoga Nidra experience. The practice is done
in a resting position. No prior experience needed. All
welcome!
MEDITATION: Tuesdays, 7pm.
Silent, seated meditation for ½ hour. Open to those who want
to remain after class as well as those who would like to
come just for the sitting. Brief instruction will be
offered. No charge.
